The hide and lovely black and brown hair are both in terrific condition, and the horns measure to achieve an SCI Gold Medal Score of 139 7/8″, ranking in the top 50 in the SCI record book! About the ‘Hybrid’ Sheep (Ovis Hybrid)

Corsican (or Mouflon) is often the general name for hybrid sheep, typically crossed between a common sheep (Ovis aries) and any of the following (reported, but not confirmed): Bighorn, Dahl, Argali, or European Mouflon. This wide range of hybrid and subsequent crossing has led to many ‘named’ types of of sheep such as the “Texas Dall”, “Black Hawaiian”, “Barbados”, etc. Beautiful colors and exotic horn sizes/shapes result in a wide variety of appearances within this class of sheep.
